COMMERCIAL CLIENTS
Renewable energy solar systems help businesses
benefit from PV solar. Over time, energy efficiency
will reduce costs of operation conserving cash
previously needed to pay for energy. Solar energy
can provide energy in areas where it is costly
to connect to the grid and help reduce demand charges
for your business.

Federal Tax Credit
The Federal government offers a 30% rebate of the net system cost of
solar power
systems, with no cap.
Modified Accelerated Cost-Recovery System
(MACRS)
An additional tax credit advantage of an
accelerated 5-year depreciation of your net
solar system investment. These provisions are
found in IRC section 179.

California - Expected Performance Based Buydown (EPBB)
The rebate payment is as much as $1.90 per watt installed. This rebate
is available to any installation under 100 kilowatt (kWp). This is a one-time
rebate paid out by the State after the system is installed, which SunTechnics
will carry, so that you will only manage the net investment.
California - Performance Based Incentive
(PBI)
Rebate payments are as much as $.26 per kilowatt hour. Every system over
100 kWp in size will automatically default to this incentive, but smaller
systems can also opt-in if they determine it a better benefit. The PBI
is a monthly rebate payment over a five year span, which is determined
by the actual energy produced. The payment that you qualify for remains
the same for the life of the rebate.
Pennsylvania - Energy Harvest and PEDA grants available for
commercial, non-profit and municipal customers. Small Business Advantage
grants also available. We will assist you in preparing the applications.
Pa is moving to a Renewable Energy Credit (REC) based market. Every solar
kWh produced has a REC associated with it. These RECs are tradable on
the market and will offset the capital cost of any installation.
New Jersey - Commercial rebates are based upon system size as described:
10,001 to 40,000 watts $2.75/watt $2.50/watt 40,001 to 100,000 watts $2.50/watt
100,001 to 500,000 watts $2.25/watt 500,001 to 700,000 watts $2.00/watt.
Also available are the Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs).
Delaware - rebates upto $250,000 for commercial installations
New York - $4.00/watt rebate market
Maryland - $3,000 for residential, $5000 for commercial, owner retains
